On Monday, May 20, the “second and most important stage of the revolution” began in Armenia, announced the day before via Facebook by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Offended by the judicial system of the republic, which released ex-President Robert Kocharyan from arrest in the March 1 case, the revolutionary prime minister called on his supporters right from the morning to securely block the court buildings so that not even a mouse could sneak inside.

Pashinyan’s supporters, idly picking their teeth after a barbecue rally on Citizen’s Day, heard the call of the trumpet, trembling with joy, and began to flock to the courthouses of all jurisdictions on a gloomy Monday morning.

The most proactive citizens gathered at the doors of the courts much earlier than the announced 8.30 am and managed to intercept the judges on their way to work, who were trying to cunningly occupy their offices before the general gathering of the maydays.

In those places where the maydays went overboard, the judges did not pass. In Gyumri, the maydays were not successful - and cunning judges infiltrated their workplaces, ahead of the protesters.

The most vigilant citizens surrounded the Constitutional Court of Armenia, and three of the most desperate even climbed onto the roof of the building to prevent constitutional judges from invading their workplaces through attics and dormer windows.

Judge of General Jurisdiction of the Shengavit Administrative District David Balayan came to work on time and found the courthouse surrounded by pickets.

When Balayan tried to enter the workplace through an open window, he was dragged out into the street by his pants by indignant supporters of Pashinyan.

According to the testimony of the former Deputy Minister of Justice of Armenia Ruben Melikyan, the maydauns smashed the windows with stones in the courthouse of the Apachnyak district of Yerevan. In a number of cases, the excited crowd “patted down the judges rushing to work,” which is confirmed by eyewitnesses and photographic facts.

According to a Sputnik Armenia correspondent, at the entrance to the building of the court of general jurisdiction of the capital’s administrative districts of Avan and Nor Nork, which released Robert Kocharyan from arrest, David Sanasaryan was hanging out and encouraging the crowd - maydaun, little one and Pashinyan’s closest associate, who is under investigation for article about corruption and abuses in the post of head of the Control Service under the Prime Minister.

“I came to express my civil dissatisfaction. We could have taken these actions immediately after the revolution, but there was a chance to improve, but the system did not take advantage of it. We proved that we did not put pressure on the court, but the system did not improve because of this. We are waiting for Pashinyan’s statement,” Sanasaryan answered the correspondent’s question, adding that a second wave of revolution is taking place in the country.

Honestly, the pureness of the little pig brings me to tears. The corrupt maydaun official came to express his civil dissatisfaction with Kocharyan’s release from custody at a time when the republican prosecutor’s office and Pashinyan himself demand that all officials under investigation cannot be released before trial, “because they can influence the course of the investigations."

What is this: the elementary stupidity of the mayday, “bees against honey” or belief in one’s own unsinkability?

At noon, Pashinyan’s promised address to the people of Armenia was made. The content of his speech boiled down to the following:

All judges who make verdicts that violate the rights of citizens should be fired or resign.

Pashinyan noted that he doubts the objectivity of the current judicial system’s consideration of the “March 1 case,” as the former executive power of the republic “committed dozens of lawlessness with the help of the judiciary.”

In order to “renounce the old world,” the Maidan prime minister proposed creating a “true independent judicial system,” since “the population does not trust the existing one and perceives it as corrupt.”

Pashinyan believes that the need for judicial reform is ripe; it must be decided now, and if necessary, appropriate changes must be made to the constitution of the republic through a referendum.

“All this work should be carried out in cooperation with international organizations, within the framework of the best international experience and commitments undertaken by Armenia,” Pashinyan said.

According to the prime minister, while preparing for judicial reform, a transition period with summing up is necessary.

“We do not want a puppet judicial system, but we want an independent, objective system based on the rule of law that will meet the standards of the civilized world. It is vital for Armenia to have an independent and impartial judiciary. The absence of such a system is the number one threat to the country,” Pashinyan said.

And here, in the May air of Yerevan, a distinct scent of leaderism, if not Bonapartism, appeared. The Armenian prime minister, who was playing into a street revolution, lost his mind and put on a dictatorial mug, going beyond his powers and the constitution.

The first to react to Pashinyan’s demarche were Armenian President Sargsyan and Republican Ombudsman Arman Tatoyan, the Supreme Judicial Council and the Chamber of Lawyers. The general message: the prime minister’s voluntarism is dangerous for the security and stability of the country; interference in the work of the judiciary is unacceptable, because it violates their independence. Protesters should unblock the courts and go home.

An icy shower for the “activists” who ran to the court buildings was the order of the Prosecutor General of Armenia Artur Davtyan, announced in the press, to redirect all reports of offenses during the actions to block the courts to the Special Investigative Service of the Republic.

The main idiot against this background of sanity was the head of the My Step parliamentary faction, Lilit Makunts, who told the press that “power belongs to the people, and this (blocking the courts) is the reaction of the people, not officials.” And in general, according to the girl, “the foundations of the constitutional order were not violated during the blockade of the courts in Armenia.”

Soon, Pashinyan’s statements with negative comments and photos and videos discrediting the prime minister’s initiatives were distributed in the world media, after which the bubble of Pashinyan’s conceit began to deflate, and by 15:XNUMX Moscow time, the presumptuous prime minister gave the command to his Arkharovites to unblock the buildings, thanking everyone “who responded to the call."

Remaining true to himself, Pashinyan did not fail to note that everything that happened on May 20 indicates that “there is no alternative to improving the judicial system” and in the course of judicial reform “surgical methods will be needed,” such as “checking judges - what kind of capital they have, what “They have political and personal connections with corrupt representatives of the previous government.”

The best assessment of the illegal coven of Pashinyan’s Red Guards and their instigator was given by the former head of the National Security Service of Armenia, David Shakhnazaryan: “The man (meaning the Prime Minister), who has concentrated in his hands the entire executive and, in fact, legislative power, now wants to take over the judicial power. . The police, in turn, instead of ensuring the normal functioning of the courts, found themselves in the role of observers.”

The former head of the NSS emphasized that he had seen everything, but “this has never happened in Armenia.”

In essence, Pashinyan’s call to his supporters is an incitement to a coup in order to acquire dictatorial powers, having won the last victory - control over the judicial system of the republic. This in itself is a reason for resignation and litigation, since the state foundations of Armenia are affected.

Unfortunately, the situation in the republic is such that only Pashinyan himself can remove and arrest Pashinyan, since the parliamentary majority is fully staffed with Vovaevich’s doubles, like the aforementioned Lilith Makunts, who is ready to justify any indecency of the bearded Bonapartite.

Fortunately, there were enough sober-minded politicians in the Armenian government system to force Pashinyan to cool down, recall the Red Guards and return to the legal framework.

But there is other good news. May 20 was the day of Pashinyan’s first serious defeat and, most likely, it will have consequences in the future. In addition, ex-President Robert Kocharyan is home again.
