The poisoning of 400 children in a school in Nikolaev was classified as hooliganism
Nikolaev law enforcement officers classified the mass poisoning of children at school with an unknown substance as “Hooliganism,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Due to the mass poisoning of children at school, the Zavodsky OP GUNP in the Nikolaev region began criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Art. 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Hooliganism”. The culprit faces a fine of up to fifty tax-free minimum incomes, or arrest of up to six months, or restriction of freedom for up to three years,” the statement says.
It was previously established that the cause of the deterioration in the children’s health was the spraying of an unknown substance in the premises of the educational institution. Experts examined air measurements and found no hazardous substances.
Let us remind you that on May 21, 400 children were evacuated from school No. 6 in Nikolaev due to a strong smell. Students complained en masse of feeling unwell.
Currently, 36 students of a general education institution are being treated at the Nikolaev City Children's Hospital with a diagnosis of acute poisoning by an unknown substance of moderate severity, two of them are in intensive care.
