“Illegal groups with unregistered weapons ensure destabilization of public life. When you saw the “National Squads” on Khreshchatyk, did each of you feel safer? The monopoly on weapons belongs to the state,” Poroshenko said.

He threatens liability for anyone who carries an unregistered weapon.

“If anyone uses an unregistered weapon, there will be consequences. I demand this from law enforcement agencies. I intend to change the legislation that will ensure the actions of the police,” Poroshenko said.
