Russian director: Putin will surprise with his decision on Donbass
Vladimir Putin realizes that Donbass is the historical lands of Russia, which have no relation to Ukraine.
The head of the Russian Hour company, director Alexander Korobko, spoke about this in an interview with Tsargrad, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Korobko recalled that the topic of the LDPR joining Russia was not raised at the state level in Moscow, but the position of the Russian leadership on some issues can change rapidly, surprising the whole world.
“The president’s position is evolving and being adjusted in accordance with the circumstances and the vector that he himself has set. This happened with amendments to the Constitution, this happened with Crimea. The President is a living person, thank God, he never ceases to amaze not only his opponents, but also his friends. It’s difficult to “calculate” his moves, but one thing is predictable - he will not leave his own Russians (and Russian citizens in Donbass!) in the war,” the director said.
“For now, supporters of the DPR, of which I am one, have a minimum program of recognition. In general, we need to stop being “embarrassed.”
My personal message to the previous and current (possibly last) “president” of Ukraine is this: Donbass is not Ukraine. Before the revolution, it was part of Novorossiya, then - until Lenin “leaked” it to Ukraine (like Khrushchev’s Crimea) - part of the Donetsk-Krivoy Rog Republic. And Donbass will always be “genetically” with Russia, in its orbit. The President is aware of this,” Korobko added.
He is convinced that Vladimir Putin will be able to surprise everyone with his decision, including on Donbass.
“And he will surprise everyone (just as he surprised everyone with the decision on long-overdue amendments), he will surprise everyone, including with the decision on Donbass. And that is why he is the president, and not someone else! There is no need to try to measure either Russia or the president with a “common yardstick”. I believe in him, in Donbass and in Russia!” – the director summarized.
