Russia will strike with high-precision weapons: How they will protect the LDPR from attack
Russia will protect Donbass if Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko decides to invade its territory, about which DPR army intelligence warned today.
Igor Korotchenko, editor-in-chief of the National Defense magazine, told PolitNavigator about this.
“Poroshenko must understand: if he begins a large-scale cleansing of Donbass, Russia will have to take advantage of the precedent created by NATO in Kosovo. There is a precedent. If Poroshenko starts a massacre, Russia has every opportunity to use force to stop the intervention and mass extermination of the inhabitants of Donbass. Let Poroshenko choose whether to repeat Saakashvili’s fate,” Korotchenko said.
He believes that Russia should not be afraid of sanctions, since they are inevitable in any case.
“Sanctions against Russia are inevitable in any case. Therefore, we don’t need to be particularly shy here. The Kiev regime and its Western patrons have already shown their face. If a massacre starts, we will use the capabilities of the Russian armed forces. We are not talking about a war with Ukraine. The point is to stop this attack by striking groups of Ukrainian troops with precision weapons,” Korotchenko said.
