The US did not risk imposing sanctions on Chinese and European companies operating in Crimea
The practice of American sanctions shows that it is safer for the Chinese or Europeans to work in Crimea than for Russian enterprises, writes Nezavisimaya Gazeta.

Negotiations are actively underway on investments in Crimea with Italian or Spanish companies. Previously, the large Chinese company Shanghai Foundation Engineering Group officially worked on the construction of an energy bridge to Crimea. At the same time, neither Washington nor Brussels are announcing any sanctions against European or Chinese companies,” the newspaper notes.
At the same time, the publication points out, the situation is completely different with Russian businesses operating in Crimea; in particular, in early September, the United States added a number of Russian companies involved in the construction of the Kerch Bridge to the sanctions list.
