The United States imposed new sanctions against Russia
The United States of America has introduced new sanctions against Russia. Two Russian companies, Global Vision Group and Promsyreimport, as well as the deputy director of the latter enterprise, Andrei Dogaev, fell under the restrictive measures of the US Treasury, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The sanctions were imposed due to the fact that these companies are allegedly engaged in supplying oil from Iran to Syria. Exports from Iran, we recall, are also subject to restrictions by the United States.
8 November US authorities have already expanded the sanctions list against Russia due to the conflict around Ukraine and Crimea, adding three individuals and nine organizations to the list.
