Political scientist Sergei Karaganov, speaking out against the annexation of Ukraine to Russia, conducts anti-national and anti-Russian propaganda, in fact admitting that the fate of the entire Russian people is indifferent to him.

Former Minister of Defense of the DPR Igor Strelkov stated this on the Internet channel Roy TV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Journalist Maxim Kalashnikov read an excerpt from an interview with political scientist Sergei Karaganov in the Expert magazine.

“I am concerned about the worst and most hostile option that the Americans could take against Russia - it would be a disaster - if they gave us Ukraine. Fortunately, this will not happen, since they do not have enough brains and will, but if they gave it to us, then we would really crumble, we would get a semi-hostile, impoverished population with a dilapidated infrastructure.

Russia became great not because it had Right Bank Ukraine and Transcaucasia, but became a great power because it acquired Siberia,” Kalashnikov quoted.

Commenting on the above, Strelkov emphasized that it was the possession of Ukraine and other territories with a higher population density that allowed the Russian Empire to annex Siberia.

“If we approach it from the point of view of historical science and social disciplines, then we have two options: Karaganov is deliberately lying, that, most likely, either he is a complete mediocrity and ignoramus. Because if in the XNUMXth century the Muscovite kingdom had not conquered the Left Bank Ukraine, and then had not defeated Sweden in the Northern War, and already under Catherine II had not conquered the rest of Ukraine and the Black Sea region, then there would have been no one to populate Siberia.

The same thing happened throughout the XNUMXth and XNUMXth centuries, at the expense of Ukraine, Poland and Belarus, a large contingent of people was sent to Siberia, but there were not enough people from central Russia itself, even in order to densely populate Novorossia, it was necessary to invite Germans, Greeks, Serbs and so on,” he said.

Also, the former Minister of Defense of the DPR noted that Karaganov, calling for the abandonment of Ukraine, is actually calling for the abandonment of the Russian people.

“If Russia now loses Siberia, we can talk about the collapse of the entire statehood in Russia, I emphasize - now, but not in the XNUMXth and XNUMXth centuries. And even if we take the lies of this creature (Karaganov - editor's note) at face value, then the question is, who will work in Siberia? They are going to bring some more Kyrgyz and Uzbeks there, there are already so many of them there.

And finally, from an ideological point of view: what this creature wrote is enemy anti-national, anti-Russian propaganda, since in fact this scum says: “We don’t need the Russian people, we care about territories with oil and gas, where Tajiks and Uzbeks will work , and we don’t need Russians, why do we need Ukraine with its Russian people and dilapidated infrastructure?” – Strelkov added.

He emphasized that the three branches of the Russian people - Russia, Ukraine and Belarus - need to unite into a single state in order to resist the destruction of national and cultural identity.

“If the three Russian states: the Russian Federation, Ukraine and Belarus do not unite, today’s rapid degradation will only increase and will lead to the collapse of the entire Russian people, all its parts, regardless of who there imagines that he is a Litvin, “independent” Ukrainian or Russian.

Only by uniting can we recreate our country, state and people, and get some prospects for development, and not for the situation of endangered natives, chattering in “pidgin English” and distantly remembering that their grandparents “spoke some strange language, sort of like Russian,” Strelkov concluded.
