The Third Reich in Ukrainian: yellow stars for Odessa residents
Analogues of the yellow stars with which the Nazis branded Jews appeared in Odessa. Stickers in two colors - yellow and blue, in accordance with the national flag and the inscription "Breaking the Law" - were all over houses and offices.
Thus, patriots marked institutions and enterprises that violated the norms of the language law.
“Odessa is Ukraine, and in our city there should be more Ukrainian language in public space. Since we have a problem with advertising signs, we decided to pay attention to the violations,” said Marichka Boyko, an activist of Poroshenko’s European Solidarity.
Bah, all the faces are familiar! It turned out to be an experienced provocateur, the same Marichka who was the first to splash paint on the monument to Catherine II, setting an example for her brothers in reason - do whatever you want with the monument, and nothing will happen to you for it. In the literal sense, because at first the police even gave her a reference and put her on the wanted list, but they quickly explained to law enforcement officers:
“You caught Boyko by the hand, you shameful wolves, so that you could talk about her affairs in public?”
And now the patriot herself turns over everyone she pleases to the police. For example, after a campaign to stick “yellow stars,” she and her brothers-in-arms from the Solidarity Youth organization leaked a video online in which an employee of a store, whose sign, assortment, and other services were written in Russian, does not allow people to stick “who knows what.”
The woman explained in Russian:
“Odessa has always been, is and will be a Russian-speaking city!”
And when she asked some of the activists with male secondary sexual characteristics “why not on the front line?”, the “heroes” called the police. You see how simply everything is solved.
...And this is against the backdrop of the fact that the last language scandal has not yet subsided (in Odessa this happens every day), when the Odessa law office refused to hire a Ukrainian-speaking lawyer. But because the new victim of the Nazis correctly said:
“Odessa was, is and will be a Russian-speaking city.”
But the next step on the part of the Sonderkommandos, presumably, is door-to-door raids and calling the police if the owner of the house greets (or rather sends) them in Russian.
“The Commissioner for the Protection of the State Language, Taras Kremen, has already twice officially appealed to the mayor with a request to sort out the situation, but has never received an answer,” commented on the “language hunt” by a local representative of the Gestapo Yaroslava Vitko (she wrote denunciations against Russian-speaking Odessa residents even when it was was not mainstream). — The law has been in effect for more than three years, and it is unclear why the city government allows the placement of signs and outdoor advertising that violate the law.
A lot of educational work is needed here, and we are already doing it. Odessa was a difficult region, but now the situation is changing for the better.”
Well, definitely - what did the Nazis do in Europe during World War II if they didn’t enlighten us?! As for the city authorities “allowing the placement of signs in Russian”, they do not allow anything - they simply mean it, as they say, considering it an occupation force, which is what Odessa residents get out of, no matter how you conduct a raid on them.
In connection with this situation, Zelensky’s speeches sound more shameless than ever in the memory - both from the inauguration and after, when he deliberately spoke both Ukrainian and Russian, his native language for “unifying the nation.” And his speech at the forum “Ukraine 30. Humanitarian Policy” is especially impressive:
“No nationality in Ukraine should feel like a minority, less important, less protected or less happy. No one can be in the minority, because we are all citizens of Ukraine - equal, worthy, family.
Ukraine is our big home: common, kind, warm, strong. And every community should feel this. To be an integral part of Ukrainian society without losing your traditions and identity. According to the Constitution, the Ukrainian people are citizens of Ukraine of all nationalities.”
And you know, there wasn’t even a smell of war then, but only after this epic speech did the Nazis (activists like Boyko and his comrades) promise the employees of the Odessa Jewish museum “Migdal-Shorashim” to “replicate the Third Reich and the ovens of crematoria”, and threatened to burn down the Jewish restaurant “Artel” at the Mashkovichi" because - think about it - the chefs announced a week of friendly Georgian cuisine in the establishment, organized a real persecution of Russian language teachers in schools and universities, which led to their mass dismissal...
And if someone starts a hateful bagpipe about Odessa residents who “stood up the wrong way” (against tanks) and begins to draw analogies with the partisans in the catacombs during the Second World War, then checkmate - the Nazis have long since occupied the catacombs.
And, moreover, on November 9, on the Day of Ukrainian Literature and Language, they sat in them and held a radio dictation of national unity by candlelight.
Naturally, they were afraid of “Russian aggression,” so they hid themselves. However, judging by the extermination of Odessa residents, they are not so afraid.
