Avakov called Yanukovych a child in comparison with Poroshenko
The scale of censorship in the media after the coup in Kyiv has reached such proportions that the Maidan activists themselves are forced to admit it.
The chairman of the trade union of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the odious militant Ilya Kiva, close to the Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov, stated this on air on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The authorities are building censorship much wider and more extensive than it was under Yanukovych. Yanukovych today (for all my negative attitude and the fact that I started from the Maidan) is a child compared to today’s apparatus of pressure on the media and on the position of dissent in our country,” Kiva said.
“Any time I come to the TV channel and criticize the president ends with enormous pressure for the channel, calling the general producers “on the carpet” and skinning them,” the Maidan activist complained.
As PolitNavigator previously reported, one of the deputies of the Verkhovna Rada personally insisted on the adoption of a bill according to which for denying “Russian aggression” punishment is provided.
