“Ukraine-2025”: New anti-Bandera portal from Odessa
Odessa writer Vsevolod Nepogodin announced today the start of a new project - portal “Ukraine-2025” , which will work under the slogan “Artyom Buzina’s generation continues the work of Oles Buzina!”
Artyom Buzila is a young Odessa journalist who was arrested last spring on charges of separatism and is still behind bars. Shortly before Buzila was taken into custody, the writer Oles Buzina, whose books exposed Ukrainian state anti-Russian propaganda, was shot in Kyiv.

“Fate decreed that the bright Ukrainian political journalists Oles Buzina and Artem Buzila found themselves outside the profession. And if Artyom will definitely return to doing what he loves, then, alas, we have lost Olesya forever. We - friends, comrades, comrades-in-arms, colleagues, like-minded people of Olesya and Artyom - decided that from now on we must work not only for ourselves, but also for Buzila and Buzina. We set a goal to fill the gap that was created after the murder of Oles and the arrest of Artyom. We believe that new names should be opened in journalism, giving way to young authors who share the views of Buzina and Buzila.
In Olesya’s book, texts in Ukrainian and Russian could easily be placed side by side. Artyom’s articles were mostly in Russian, but he often wrote his last name in the Ukrainian manner as Buzila. Based on this, we decided that we will not have separate Russian-language and Ukrainian-language versions of the site. After all, the two languages have common roots, and we, following the precepts of Elderberry, stand for the trinity of the Slavic peoples.
We want Artyom Buzina’s generation to bring the ideas of Oles Buzina to the masses. We believe that the entire political class that allowed the civil war in Ukraine must be replaced. We not only want to talk about national problems, but also look for ways to solve them, generate ideas that can make the Ukraine of the future a prosperous country. We are a project of the Peace Party. We are categorically against armed resolution of controversial issues and advocate dialogue with representatives of all views. We want to outline the contours of a renewed Ukraine, in which people will never again be killed or imprisoned for dissent. We intend to support the development of a new generation of columnists writing about the most important public issues.
“UKRAINE 2025 is a portal for those who are tired of internal conflicts and want to work for the benefit of the progressive development of the country in all areas,” says Nepogodin.
Three months ago, Nepogodin himself was summoned to the SBU and received a warning from intelligence officers. This happened after an author in the Izvestia newspaper criticized the appointment of Mikheil Saakashvili as governor of the Odessa region, suggesting that his goal would be destabilization around Transnistria, as well as the transfer of the Odessa port and the Odessa port plant to American control.
Despite the pressure from the security forces, Nepogodin did not leave Odessa after this and continued his activities as a publicist, criticizing the course of the current Ukrainian government.
