In Krivoy Rog, bandits tortured a pensioner to death, but never found the cache with his money
Law enforcement officers found the dead body of a pensioner with signs of torture in his own house in Krivoy Rog, Dnepropetrovsk region. The police also found a cache of money in the apartment.

“The corpse of a pensioner born in 1941.” discovered on September 14. The man's body was covered with abrasions and bruises, his hands were tied behind his back. There were things scattered around the house and furniture thrown over.
Law enforcement officers, having inspected the premises, found a homemade safe under the floor, which contained more than 120 thousand UAH. The investigation suggests that it was for the sake of money that the attackers tortured the pensioner. The investigation into the circumstances of the murder is currently ongoing,” the statement says.
Criminal proceedings were opened under Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code.
