In Moscow, they took a tough look at “freedom of speech” in the West

Russian experts stated this in comments to PolitNavigator.
Thus, according to political scientist Denis Denisov, the West continues to practice a policy of double standards, turning a blind eye to the murder of the DPR leader.
“Once again we are faced with the ongoing policy of double standards of our Western partners regarding what is happening in Russia and related to the Russian Federation. It’s even interesting, because the Russian side has more than once invited Western partners to conduct a joint investigation of the terrorist attack that killed Zakharchenko. As a result, we simply do not hear any reaction. If there was at least some, but they pretend that nothing happened. And if we remember that in fact not a single Western country gave its official condemnation of this barbaric and terrorist act, which confirms this policy of double standards. When it concerns these countries, this is a terrorist act; when it concerns Russia, the DPR, the LPR, these are permissible methods of warfare on the part of Ukraine. It’s time to build relations with our Western partners based on this logic,” Denisov said.
Military expert, editor-in-chief of the National Defense magazine Igor Korotchenko, emphasized that the removal of the material is indirect evidence that true information was published in it.
“The operation to kill Zakharchenko was planned very professionally and successfully. Of course, it was carried out by Ukrainians, but we cannot exclude the version that Western intelligence agencies could have been behind the preparation of this special group - this is a completely probable version, since this operation requires not only executors, but also information and analytical preparation. It cannot be ruled out that the military intelligence of Ukraine has a unit that carries out acts of sabotage and force, and it was this unit, being trained and equipped, including by its Western colleagues, that could carry out an operation to destroy the leader of the DPR. And the fact that the material was removed from the resource is indirect evidence that the information may be true and there are people interested in stopping the spread of this kind of leakage channel,” Korotchenko said.
This manifestation of “freedom of speech” in the British style does not surprise economist Alexander Dudchak.
“Freedom of speech in Britain and in America does not surprise anyone. It's in their traditions. As Ford said, “The car can be any color as long as it is black.” It’s the same with freedom of speech – anyone can have any opinion as long as it coincides with the American-British one. And these people are talking about interfering in elections in the West with the help of hackers…” he says.
