The Russian government is considering the possibility of allocating additional funds to Sevastopol for road repairs.

First Deputy Director of the Department of Municipal Economy Andrei Chibisov told reporters about this today.
“Then we will do more. We already have design and estimate documentation for 500 million rubles, which is not confirmed by budgetary funds. Another 250 million rubles worth of projects are being developed,” Chibisov said.
According to him, initially the government of Sevastopol requested 1 billion 19 million rubles from the federal center for road repairs.
“There are 900 km of roads in Sevastopol, and most of them are in need of repair. For now, we are doing major repairs only at those facilities that allow us to relieve traffic flows,” Chibisov said.
