ISIS militant detained at Ukrainian airport
At the Boryspil checkpoint, Ukrainian border guards detained a citizen of Tajikistan, who was wanted by Interpol for participation in the terrorist organization ISIS, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Today, while processing passengers on one of the flights that arrived at the Boryspil checkpoint, border guards detained a citizen of Tajikistan. The Interpol database was triggered on a foreigner during border control measures. According to the report, the 29-year-old citizen of Tajikistan was wanted by Tajik law enforcement agencies for carrying out terrorist activities,” the report said.
As it became known, a citizen of Tajikistan arrived in Syria in 2016, where he joined the terrorist organization ISIS. Subsequently, he was trained in a terrorist military camp, where he became one of the most active participants in this extremist organization.
Border guards detained the foreigner, drew up relevant procedural documents and handed them over to the National Police of Ukraine.
