The Ukrainian Armed Forces deployed a sniper group to the disengagement zone to hunt the OSCE
Ukrainian units are secretly deploying military equipment in the Petrivske area, where the disengagement of troops is to take place, and are also obstructing the work of the OSCE SMM.
Official representative of the People's Militia of the DPR Rinat Aigistov stated this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He noted that Ukrainian units have increased activity in the disengagement area in the Petrovsky area.
“So, in the area of the settlement of Bogdanovka, the secret placement of two BTR-70 armored personnel carriers, one BRDM, as well as two Ural trucks transporting personnel, property and ammunition was noted. When OSCE observers tried to record the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of the disengagement site, Ukrainian militants opened fire from small arms towards the Mission’s UAV, forcing the observers to leave the danger zone,” said a DPR representative.
In addition, according to the department, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have increased the use of mobile electronic warfare units to radio suppression of control signals from drones of OSCE observers.
“We are particularly concerned about the arrival of an enemy sniper group in the specified area, which poses a threat to the OSCE SMM patrols,” Rinat Aigistov emphasized.
