Zelensky swallowed Putin’s hook with appetite – Kiev weekly
The Kremlin identified Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky as a “love addict” and launched an information and psychological operation against him.
The Kiev weekly “Zerkalo Nedeli” writes about this, according to which, recent exchange of detained persons between Moscow and Kiev is by no means evidence that the Russian President has succumbed to the diplomatic charm of the new Ukrainian president.
“This, as always, is Putin’s “multi-move”. Having returned Vyshinsky, acquired Tsemakh, demonstrated a “gesture of goodwill” and removed (at least temporarily) one of the toxic issues in relations with the West, freeing the iconic Ukrainian “hostages of the Kremlin,” Putin at the same time threw Zelensky an emotional hook, which he obviously, he swallowed it with gusto,” the publication notes.
The publication claims that the Kremlin and Lubyanka have long drawn up a psychological portrait of the new Ukrainian president, collected information about his weaknesses, pain points and passions, detected his dependence on people’s love and noticed a passionate desire for quick results.
“Zelensky is defined as a “love addict”, dependent on the applause of the public/electorate. The average person is not interested in the price of peace; only citizens are concerned about it. In Russia, they are doing everything to increase public expectations in Ukraine from the new head of state, creating internal political pressure for him: the inhabitants there are experts in information and psychological operations,” ZN concludes.
