The payment of bonuses and bonuses will be negotiated depending on the results of Smilyansky’s work.
When asked about citizenship, he replied that he has two citizenships - the USA and Ukraine - and does not see this as a contradiction for working in Ukraine.
The head of “Ukrposhti” noted that dual citizenship is not prohibited in Ukraine, but is only not recognized, and he pays taxes in two countries.
Let us recall that on April 20, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine appointed Igor Smilyansky, manager of the American office of the largest auditing company KPMG, as head of the board of Ukrposhta. He has worked for 17 years in the field of strategic, management and financial consulting, and has experience in Ukraine and other countries of the world. He received an MBA from Georgetown University and a Juris Doctor from George Washington University Law School.
June 2 Smilyansky wrote on Facebook: “The first day at my new job has ended. I have already been able to save the company a little money, I hope we will continue to do so.”
