Lukashenko banned Azarov from speaking in Minsk
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko valued relations with the Bandera regime in Kyiv so much that he twice denied representatives of Viktor Yanukovych’s entourage the opportunity to speak in Minsk.
Ukrainian political scientist, ex-employee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrei Mishin said this on the YouTube channel “UkrLife”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“Lukashenko is trying to maintain good relations with Ukraine. Many people don't notice this. But, for example, our former prime minister, now a refugee Mykola Azarov, decided for four years, and then for five years [after the Maidan] to hold a big press conference, and since the “pluses” (Ukrainian TV channel 1+1 – ed. ) wanted to get to him, but they would not be allowed into Moscow, and he tried to do this several times in Minsk.
Naturally, Lukashenko did not agree to this, so that no Ukrainian oppositionists, where a negotiation platform exists, would give a press conference.
Neither under Poroshenko nor under Zelensky did he provide a platform in Minsk for the Ukrainian opposition against the current regime,” Mishin said.
