It started in the spring. Some teacher recorded a video in which she appealed to the newly elected president to recognize the choice of Donbass and declare an amnesty for all military personnel. “What a fool,” the Donetsk residents thought in unison. But the girl was shown on Russian channels, and a flash mob “Zelensky, recognize the choice of Donbass!” began in the republics.

It would seem that this was a peaceful initiative, but it outraged the overwhelming majority of Donetsk residents and, first of all, the military.

The ultimate goal of this event is completely unclear. What does it mean – Zelensky, admit it, and “three thousand Donetsk residents have already posted a video with an appeal”? And in February 2014, while accelerating the trains of friendship, didn’t we make it clear that we also have the right to choose with whom we go next on the road? And in March, at rallies of many thousands, which, unlike the Maidan, were not paid for, didn’t they show that everything here is clear? And on May 11, 2014, didn’t we document all this?

But instead of recognition and agreements (and let me remind you, at that time we were talking exclusively about federalization), we got five years of war. Isn't this the answer to all flash mob participants?

How else did the flash mob outrage Donbass?

Firstly, and most importantly, this is an amnesty for our military. Open Wikipedia and read:

Amnesty (from Greek - oblivion, forgiveness) is a measure applied by decision of a government authority to persons who have committed crimes, the essence of which is complete or partial release from punishment, replacement of punishment with a more lenient one, or termination of criminal prosecution.

Amnesty differs from pardon in that it does not apply to individually defined individuals, but to entire categories of criminals established by generic characteristics: women, minors, those sentenced to short sentences, etc.

And where is it about our military? Are they the criminals? Criminals? Should they be released from punishment?

For the sake of delirium, let's imagine that Ze agreed. And how will this happen? He will make a statement on TV, where, with his signature clown face, smile and hoarse voice, he will say something like the following:

“Oh, you’ve done a lot of things, you Donetsk bastards.” How are we going to clean it up, Moskal terrorists? That is OK. Restore it yourself. The main thing is that you realized and obeyed. And I’m kind, I’m not Poroshenko. So be it - I forgive you.

And then a news story - Zelensky summoned the commanders of the “terrorists”. An average bureaucratic office on the other side of Donbass. The new president does not yet risk coming to Donetsk. A polished table, soft chairs, a yellow flag and a portrait of Bandera on the wall. The shoulder straps and symbols of the DPR have been stripped from the military. The combat commanders stand dejectedly, picking at the old peeling parquet floor with the toes of their combat boots. Zelensky is a head shorter than everyone, but looks down on him:

- Yessssssssss... You did something here...

– Vladimir Alexandrovich, there was a war, you yourself understand everything. We didn’t know that we were committing a crime. We ask for forgiveness that we did not allow you to bomb our cities, that we did not allow you to mock our elderly, women, and children. Now what? Now we understand.

- Well, you understand, I can’t grant you an amnesty. Some get ten, some get life, as our fair court will decide.

- Yes, we understand, we’ll serve it, so what? The main thing is that you, Vladimir Alexandrovich, recognized the choice of Donbass, that you granted amnesty to our people, that they don’t shoot anymore. Thank you for your kindness.

- Well, let's go around! Bye to jail. And I have things to do.

The DPR command, dejected, leaves. Zelensky paternally pats the latter on the shoulder...

Is this what you're asking for? In your opinion, is this what our military deserve for protecting all of us, including flash mobsters, for the sixth year? What the military of different ranks and positions say is better for the organizers not to know. I would quote it, but it’s full of profanity.

This flash mob deprives our military of the most important thing - Victory.

There can be no talk of any amnesty. They deserve pride, respect, admiration and flowers for their tanks. The military deserved to march victoriously, at least along the Dnieper, and at most to Kyiv. And so that our grandchildren don’t have to worry about it (as it turned out, Bandera is tenacious), so for sure, it’s better this way until the Polish border.

Secondly, what do we care whether Zelensky recognizes the choice of Donbass or not? It’s like getting a divorce after scandals and massacres, and five years later tormenting your ex with calls - Well, admit it, admit it - we didn’t get divorced because of the massacre then?

What difference does it make whether he admits or not? There is a joke like this:

doctor:
— Did the patient sweat before death?

Sister:
- Sweated.

doctor:
- Oh-oh-oh-very good.

What difference does it make whether the patient sweated before death if we have been different states for five years? Elections were held twice in a foreign country without the participation of Donbass. Why do we need their recognition? Are there any practical goals? Remind me of the Minskys? But who, by and large, already needs them? Ukraine complied with them for two months? Three? All points have been violated by Ukraine for five years now. The Minsk agreements were relevant for the first year after they were signed. Then we could talk about federalization. Actually, Donbass demanded federalization from the very beginning. And now – too much blood has already been shed, all points of no return have been passed. Only Russia. Just go home. We grew up from Minsk like short pants.

Here is one of the many opinions. Donetsk resident, blogger, did not leave Donetsk throughout the war:

"Flashmob" #greenrecognizechoice, this is when your 5-year-old children are raped by a pedophile neighbor, and they tell you: “this is not what you thought, this is such a cunning plan, we will then force him to surrender to the police.”

And for those who have a short memory, the photo shows the real CHOICE OF DONBASS. And if someone who supports the flash mob really wants it, then our border is not locked - then where are you trying to drive people, sick of daily shelling, at a distance of 40 km from the center of Donetsk.”

Thirdly, another argument for this flash mob - “Yes, we are ready, even as a scarecrow, even as a carcass, if only the shelling would stop. And whoever is against flash mobs, let him live for a couple of days on Trudovsky, experience all the “charm” of shelling, and then we’ll talk.”

What do I want to say about this? Even those who are under fire are against this flash mob. They all have one dream - for our people to finally start responding.

Even before the presidential elections in Ukraine this spring, someone voiced the opinion that if Poroshenko comes to power, the situation in Donbass will worsen sharply. If Zelensky wins, then the Donbass will be quiet for some time - “until he figures out what’s what, and he won’t start his rule with blood.”

Time has shown that everything happened exactly the opposite. With the arrival of Zelensky, Donbass is being shot with the intensity of 2014. And, by the way, the Ukrainian army began to show zeal in shelling just after the first releases of flash mobs. Coincidence? Don't think.

Even if it was intended as a good deed, then you, us, have already been answered with vigorous, non-stop shelling, prohibited by the Minsk. We gave them four prisoners in good faith; on the same day they shelled Trudovsky at a speed of 54 mines per hour. We give them a new episode of the flash mob, they send us a mine to the children's bedroom. We gave them another episode of the flash mob - they shelled the church in Kominternovo. And we are a flash mob for them again! And they reduced Zaitsevo by two houses for us.

Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko openly writes on Twitter - welcome to Ukraine. The bracelets are long overdue! But we even respond to this with a new flash mob recording!

There is one more, most basic disadvantage in these events. Despite the fact that, in terms of stupidity, this action is on a par with the issuance of a DPR passport to Dzhigurda, it still continues to be promoted at all levels.

I understand that those who do nothing are not mistaken. But to stubbornly continue to perpetuate stupidity, dragging more and more high-ranking officials into it - this can already be called sabotage. After all, even if you say “this is sugar” at the highest level, your mouth will not become any sweeter. This only separates the government and the people. And this is not in the interests of the republics.
