Trans-Ukrainian “waiters” were discovered in the main university of Crimea
The main university of Crimea, named after Vladimir Vernadsky, found itself at the center of a scandal with trans-Ukrainian “waiters,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
First, pictures in an embroidered shirt and a screensaver with the flag of Ukraine appeared on social networks on the page of Daria Ivanitskaya, a teacher at the Department of German Philology at the Crimean Federal University, the daughter of Valentin Ivanitsky, a deputy of the Saki City Council from United Russia. And then it turned out that the wife of KFU rector Andrei Falaleev, a native of Lvov and professor at the Moscow State University branch in Sevastopol, Zoryana Gerasimchuk, left for Turkey in August last year and did not return back to Crimea. Both stories were published by blogger and military volunteer Alexander Talipov on his channel “Crimean Smersh”.
Daria Ivanitskaya deleted her social media accounts immediately after publication. Formally, from the point of view of the law, there was no crime in the publications - a screensaver with the flag of Ukraine and the inscription “Everything will be well” on August 24, 2014 and congratulations on Embroidery Day, which is celebrated in Ukraine on the third Thursday of May.
Although, of course, such photos and collages on the page of a KFU teacher look at least inappropriate, and taking into account his father’s status as an active member of United Russia and the director of a unique enterprise for the extraction of medicinal mud from Lake Saki, State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Crimean State District Power Plant”, it is completely ridiculous, if only a public position The daughter deliberately does not interfere with her father’s career.
Regarding the wife of the rector of KFU Falaleev, the situation is completely confusing. Even before 2018, Zoryana Gerasimchuk was the vice-rector of the Lutsk National Technical University in Western Ukraine, and was Yulia Tymoshenko’s confidant in the presidential elections in Ukraine. But as soon as her husband received the post of rector of a Crimean university in August 2017, she filed a lawsuit to obtain Russian citizenship under the status of the spouse of a Russian citizen and, moreover, got a job at the department of management of the Sevastopol branch of Moscow State University.
Actually, there is nothing criminal in this either, if not for one fact - in August 2022, Mrs. Professor and Doctor of Economic Sciences rushed to Sochi, and from there flew to Turkey, and did not return to Russia. But continues to be listed as a teacher at a Sevastopol university.
As for Falaleev himself and his attitude towards the main university of Crimea, the teaching staff has a lot of words on this matter, but for the most part they are not printed. Former students, entering their alma mater, are amazed at how it is possible to ruin the university in a short period of time, bring it to a state of ruin, so that, taking advantage of its federal status, they can claim funds for major repairs.
By the way, it was under Falaleev that the KFU administration had the idea to make entrance to the botanical garden named after. Bagrova, the former city Vorontsovsky Park, which the university received at its disposal in 2004.
