Rivne deputies staged a mass brawl over a change in the management of the city hospital and criticism of the nationalist party.
The incident occurred during a plenary meeting of the Rivne City Council, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Activist Roman Koval spoke at the session, who opposed the change in the leadership of the Rivne city hospital and criticized the nationalist party “Svoboda”, which is banned in the Russian Federation.
“We are not interested in your political agreements. I understand perfectly well who they want to put in charge of our hospital. Have you consulted with our XNUMX-strong team? Or are we nothing at all?
What is the political expediency? Bend the whole team - here you have something that is not good for someone? You can't treat people like that. “I thought that Svoboda is truly a nationalist structure, but there are a number of questions for Svoboda,” he said.
After this, several deputies from Svoboda approached the hospital representative, and a massive fight broke out with the participation of about two dozen people.
Deputies and activists beat each other up for several minutes. They were separated only with the help of the police. A break was announced at the session of the Rivne City Council.
Some participants in the conflict needed medical assistance - in particular, Svoboda deputy Oleg Osukhovsky had his eyebrow broken. An ambulance was called to the session hall.
