The hunt for Ukrainian “Bayraktars” has begun
Ukraine regularly uses Turkish drones "Bayraktar" for reconnaissance in Donbass.
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, stated this during a meeting with journalists at the Moscow club “Good Russian People,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If we talk about combat use, then this is one case, but as for reconnaissance activities, the Bayraktars actually work on a daily basis.
We have the right to destroy them, because, according to the Minsk agreements, the use of any unmanned aerial vehicles except OSCE drones is prohibited,” he said.
Denis Pushilin emphasized that, whenever possible, the defenders of Donbass will destroy the Bayraktars in the same way as any other Ukrainian drones.
“Ukraine grossly violates this, and confirms its violation. At any opportunity, the Bayraktars will be destroyed.
But for now, the Ukrainian Armed Forces, knowing the tactical and technical characteristics of our capabilities, are keeping a safe distance. If they violate or make a mistake, we will destroy them,” the head of the republic concluded.
