Rostislav Ishchenko: Any outcome of the meeting in Paris will leave Zelensky “in the cold”

Political scientist Rostislav Ishchenko stated this on radio Vesti, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"On the eve of the meeting (in the “Normandy format” - approx. ed.) come forward with the adoption of a border law, which, in accordance with their constitution, delineates the border along the boundaries of the regions. And they are conducting negotiations in Minsk as separate regions of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, which, it seems, cannot lay claim to the borders of the regions.
It is clear that without consultation with Moscow they would not have adopted such laws. And, if they accepted, they would be punched in the ears and told that they are behaving incorrectly because they are undermining the Minsk process. But no one and nothing - well, they accepted and accepted, well, that’s good.
That is, it is clear that people are simply starting to prepare after Minsk and after Zelensky breaks this deal in Paris,” the political scientist noted.
Also, in his opinion, any outcome of the meeting in the Normandy format will be extremely unfavorable for Vladimir Zelensky.
“No, of course, if he doesn’t break it, then no one will be upset - the endless and pointless Minsk process will continue to go on, because here the situation is peak only for Ukraine, for it, whether Minsk is up or Minsk is down, it makes no difference.
Everyone is preparing for the fact that the “Normandy format” will probably be the last meeting, and the Minsk process will be completely buried, and Ukraine will take on this “noble” mission, because no one else wants to take it on,” Ishchenko concluded.
